1. Introduction

Kelvuri (“Kelvuri”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates a platform supporting nursing students, graduates, and experienced nurses with interview preparation, exam readiness, skill development, assessments, coaching, career progression, and future job assistance and placement services.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Kelvuri collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal data when a user accesses the website, mobile application, or related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

Use of the Platform is also governed by Kelvuri’s Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, the Refund Policy. By using the Platform, the user agrees to the practices described in this Policy. If the user does not agree, the Platform must not be used.

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

2. Information Kelvuri May Collect

Kelvuri may collect the following categories of information:

  • Personal identifiers: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and account credentials.
  • Educational and professional details: college attended, courses undertaken, certifications, licences, transcripts, resumes, and employment history.
  • Performance and assessment data: quiz and test scores, progress reports, skill ratings, rankings, and submitted answers.
  • Usage and behavioural data: activity logs, engagement patterns, feature preferences, and time spent on the Platform.
  • Payment information: billing details, processed through third-party payment providers.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and data collected via cookies or similar tracking technologies.
  • Future services data: job preferences, relocation and immigration-related information, and application materials, as job portal and placement features are introduced.

Data may also be received from institutions that sponsor Platform access for their students or employees, limited to information necessary to administer that sponsored access.

3. How Kelvuri May Use Personal Data

Personal data may be used to:

  • Deliver and personalise core Platform services, including exam preparation, interview practice, assessments, scoring, skill development, progress tracking, and career recommendations.
  • Support future job assistance and placement services, with opportunity matching conducted in a manner consistent with user preferences.
  • Improve the Platform through analysis of usage patterns and user feedback.
  • Communicate service updates, notifications, and support responses.
  • Process payments and manage institutional sponsorship arrangements.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations.

4. Platform Content and AI-Assisted Materials

Kelvuri provides educational, assessment, and career-support content on the Platform. Portions of this content, including questions, explanations, recommendations, and assessments, may be generated or assisted by automated systems, including AI-based tools. Kelvuri reviews and updates content on an ongoing basis.

Kelvuri does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or error-free nature of any content on the Platform. Medical and nursing knowledge evolves, and licensing or examination requirements may vary by jurisdiction or institution. All Platform content is provided for informational and preparatory purposes only and does not constitute professional medical advice, formal clinical training, or regulatory guidance.

Users are encouraged to report inaccuracies, errors, or technical issues promptly so that Kelvuri may investigate and address them. Kelvuri does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

5. Assessments, Scoring and Ratings

Scores, rankings, skill ratings, and performance insights generated by the Platform are indicative and intended for self-evaluation and learning purposes only. They may not reflect real-world examination results, clinical performance, or employer evaluation standards and must not be treated as definitive measures of ability or qualification.

6. Job and Placement Services

Kelvuri may, in the future, offer tools and services to support job discovery, applications, employer connections, and international career placement. Kelvuri does not guarantee job offers, interview success, or placement outcomes. Where such features are introduced, additional data collection may occur, and Kelvuri will provide appropriate notice at that time.

7. How Kelvuri May Share Personal Data

Kelvuri does not sell personal data.

Personal data may be shared in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers engaged by Kelvuri for hosting, analytics, payment processing, communications, and technical support, on a need-to-know basis and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • With educational institutions that sponsor Platform access, limited to usage summaries and progress information relevant to the sponsored arrangement.
  • With job partners, placement agencies, or employers, only with the user’s consent or as necessary to facilitate applications or opportunities that the user has actively chosen to pursue, such as sharing resumes or qualifications for job assistance or international placement purposes.
  • As required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or legal process.
  • In connection with a business reorganisation, merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

8. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as is necessary to provide the Services, fulfil applicable legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Performance and assessment data may be retained during a user’s active engagement with the Platform and may subsequently be aggregated or de-identified for Platform improvement purposes.

9. Security

Kelvuri implements reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. However, no system is entirely secure, and Kelvuri cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. Transmission of data over the internet is undertaken at the user’s own risk.

10. System Reliability

Kelvuri aims to provide a reliable Platform, but technical issues, interruptions, or errors may occur. Kelvuri monitors the Platform and addresses issues as part of its ongoing improvement process. The occurrence of technical issues does not give rise to liability on Kelvuri’s part save as expressly provided in the Terms and Conditions.

11. User Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law and legitimate business requirements, users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting Kelvuri at the address below. Users may also opt out of marketing communications and manage cookie preferences through browser or account settings.

For institution-sponsored accounts, certain requests may require coordination with the relevant sponsoring institution before they can be processed.

12. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Kelvuri may use cookies and similar technologies for Platform functionality, usage analytics, and personalisation. Users may manage cookie settings through their browser or account preferences. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of Platform features. Kelvuri does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

13. Third-Party Services

The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party tools and services. Those providers operate under their own privacy policies, which Kelvuri encourages users to review. Kelvuri is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.

14. International Users and Data Transfers

As Kelvuri develops international placement and career services, personal data may be transferred to or processed in jurisdictions other than the user’s country of residence. By using the Platform, the user consents to such transfers where they are necessary to provide the Services, subject to appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

15. Eligibility and Age

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 years or older. Kelvuri does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Students under 18 accessing the Platform through institution-sponsored arrangements must comply with any applicable parental or institutional consent requirements.

16. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for how they interpret and act upon content and assessment results obtained through the Platform. Kelvuri does not guarantee outcomes including examination success, employment placement, or career advancement.

17. Future Services

As Kelvuri expands its services to include additional upskilling programmes, coaching, advanced skill rating, job assistance, and placement features, this Policy will continue to apply. Users will be notified of any material changes to data practices when new services are introduced.

18. Amendments to This Policy

Kelvuri reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Amendments will take effect upon publication on this page, accompanied by an updated effective date. Where changes are material, Kelvuri will notify users via the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform following publication of an amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy.
